ISCA Interspeech 2009 Brighton

Call for Contributors for the Loebner Competition and Public Exhibition

A series of events is being organised around the Interspeech2009 theme of 'Speech and Intelligence'. For example, on 6th September 2009 we will be hosting the annual contest for the Loebner Prize.

In parallel with the Loebner event, we are planning to mount (for the very first time) a speech-based version of the competition.

Also, in order to raise awareness of speech science and technology in the general public, we are putting together an exhibition of speech-related demonstrations/displays. We envisage that these will provide hands-on interaction with our current technologies, and will serve to promote our field to the wider population.
